Stephanie White

Stephanie is a artist living in North Carolina. She began painting at the age of 12 and was formally accepted into the Charleston Artist Guild at the age of 16, the youngest member ever at that time. Thru the years, she developed her style with watercolor, while studying under Marshall Joyce in Kingston, Mass in the early 70's. Marshall painted for The Franklin Mint, Red Barn Studios and also was a recognized commercial artist who later became a world re-known painter. At that time, Stephanie also started using photography as a method of recording images to paint. In the 90's, she attended a design school to further her skills as an artist.

Many of her works have been entered in art competitions and have won honors. Additionally, Stephanie's photography also has many credits, including being published in Photographers' Forum in the late 80's. She has exhibited nationally and internationally and many of her works are in private collections throughout the world.

Stephanie currently has an Arabian horse breeding farm, does interior wall design and is incorporating many of her landscape and still life paintings on furniture. As if that's not enough, she also accepts commission work of pets, portraits, studies and equestrian scenes. In Stephanie's words, "Since I have retired from a former career as a nurse, I'm a happy painter!"
